WHY IS COUNTRY JAM GOING CASHLESS? 

Contacless payment has become the norm in the special event industry. It means employees don’t have to handle cash (yuck, its dirty!) and you get the ease of simply tapping your wristband or credit card for payment.  


 

How DO I ACTIVATE MY WRISTBAND? 

You will be able to activate your wristband onsite at one of our many activation kiosks. Securely link your bank card or credit card to your wristband, and your wristband becomes your wallet!

IS THERE ANY WAY TO USE MY CREDIT CARD DIRECTLY? 

Yes! Credit Cards with a chip will be accepted at all Cashless locations, they simply take longer to process. Our non-food vendors (hats, clothing, jewlery, mechanical bull) will often take your credit card and cash but your wristband can’t be used there. 


 

WHICH VENDORS ONSITE ARE GOING CASHLESS? 

All food vendors, The Shirt Shack and Bars.   Our Vendor Villiage will not take cashless, but most accept credit cards and cash.


 

WHAT IF I WANT TO PAY WITH CASH? 

No problem - you do not need a card. Simply visit us at activation (near the Nicolet Law Main Gate) and with the support of a cashier you can pre-load cash onto your wristband. Load as much as you want onto the wristband then come back to activation at the end of the festival and get refunded what you don’t use. 


 

IS MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION ON MY WRISTBAND?  

There is no credit card data that is stored on-site or locally on the wristband. All data is stored off-site in a PCI-compliant vault. 


 

WHAT IF I LOSE MY WRISTBAND? 

Visit activation and inform them of your lost wristband. Each wristband is securely attached to the card using the UID. A wristband is made more secure with a PIN code verification to prevent that wristband from being used if found. If you did not opt in for pin code verification, your wristband can be located and blocked in the POS system from further use by searching by your name and the last four digits of your card. 


HOW LONG DOES MY WRISTBAND STAY ACTIVE?  

Wristbands are only active for the duration of the event and cannot be used in any other event or location. 
 


DOES MY PIN CODE HAVE TO MATCH THE PIN CODE FOR MY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD?  

No. The pin code can be any unique set of four digits. It does not have to be the same pin as your debit/credit card. 



WHAT IF I FORGET THE PIN CODE I CHOSE? 

If you forget your pin code, you can repeat the activation process and it will override the previous pin selection. 


 

HOW DOES TIPPING WORK WITH THIS SYSTEM? 

Just like any other POS system, you'll select your tip amount on the check out screen before confirming the transaction. Tips are completely customizable and optional 



MY CARD DOES NOT HAVE A CHIP, WHAT DO I DO?  

Cards without chips are NOT accepted. If you are planning on linking your card onsite. Please come prepared with cash to load onto your wristband or complete the activation process online prior to arriving. 


 

WHAT IF I NEED TO SWITCH THE DEBIT/CREDIT CARD LINKED TO MY WRISTBAND? 

You can change your debit/credit card at any time by logging into your account and updating your debit/credit card details. 


Loading Your Wristband with Cash?

Perfect. Find an RFID CASHIER inside the concert bowl to load your cash onto your wristband for payments. Unused cash may be reimbursed [during the event only] via the RFID Cashiers. 


**CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT ANY VENDORS THIS YEAR**


If you put Cash on your RFID wristband instead of linking a credit card or bank account, you can get your unspent cash back. Best option: Before 11pm, go back to the tent where you loaded the cash onto your wristband. The staff will assist you from there. Last chance fo reimbursement is Saturday, July 20 at 11PM.
