David Lee Murphy

David Lee Murphy is best known for his chart-topping hit “Dust On The Bottle” and as one of country music’s premier songwriters. He has penned hits for artists like Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and Keith Urban, making his mark as a true Nashville powerhouse. His debut album, Out With A Bang, produced hits like “Party Crowd” and the iconic “Dust On The Bottle,” solidifying his place as both a performer and songwriter.

Though he took a break from recording to focus on songwriting, Murphy returned with No Zip Code, produced by Kenny Chesney, which included the #1 duet “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright.” His songwriting prowess has earned him over two dozen awards, and in 2023, he was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, celebrating his lasting impact on country music.
