Construction is progressing on Country Jam's new festival site!
It was an exciting fall for the Country Jam team as we began construction on the new festival site and event center buildings, located on the edge of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, at the intersection of Country Road T and 20th Avenue. Most of the main earthwork is now completed, including the utility services and campground electrical.
While the remaining earthwork may slow down a bit during the winter months, we'll be back at it in the spring to finish the campground roads and remaining utilities. In the meantime, the foundations for the main event center buildings are 90% complete and we've now started framing the walls. Despite the winter weather, we're determined to keep building to continue progress on the site.
One of the most exciting developments is the main event center building, which will be a steel and masonry structure used to host weddings, concerts, and other large events. At 18,000 sf, allowing for a capacity of nearly 2400 people, this building is sure to be a highlight of the new event grounds experience. We'll begin erecting the building right away when the steel building materials arrive in early January.
Check back often to see the progress on Country Jam's new festival site, thanks to all the hard work from proud sponsor and partner, Cedar Falls Building Systems.
